SOLDIERS’ HOSTEL
ANNUAL MEETING HELD LAST NIGHT. The twenty-third annual meeting of the Wairarapa Soldiers’ Hostel was held in the club building la'st night. Mr P. G. Ramsay presided over an attendance of over thirty members. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mr P. G. Ramsay; vice-president, Mr V. Heath; treasurer, Mr F. J. Traynor; committee, Messrs C. Devenport, A. Dickason, S. D. Munn, C. Robertson, A. J. Towns, F. Evans, M. A. Rawlins, J. Wakelin and C. York; hbn auditors, Messrs H. M. Boddington and H. J. Brass.' A vote of thanks was accorded to the honorary auditors for their continued assistance to the club. It was agreed that a letter of appreciation for services rendered be sent to the custodian and his wife, and that a cheque for £2 2s be enclosed.
