RAID ON SICILY
EVEN MORE SUCCESSFUL THAN REPORTED AT LEAST 36 ENEMY PLANES DESTROYED. MANY OTHERS HEAVILY DAMAGED. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) LONDON, July 30. Reconnaissance flights over Sicily showed that the R.A.F.’s raid on Monday night was even more successful than was first reported.
