ORDER OF FORESTERS

COURT MAKAKAHI MEETING.

("Times-Age" Special.)

Bro. P. Fauvel presided over an. excellent attendance of members of Court Makakahi, A.0.F., last evening. An apology for absence was received from Bro. J. Ammundsen.

Correspondence was received from the District Secretary in connection with, the surplus funds for disposal in the reduction of contributions and the actual basis of the reduction.

The Woodwards reported that nine members were on the sick list and one member had declared off the list.

Amendments to the rules were approved in order to complete the registration of the surplus disposal amount. The delegates to the annual meeting of the Wairarapa Hospital Association (Bros. S. Daniel and H. Baillie) reported on the business conducted at that meeting. Bro. R. Payne gave a very interesting account of the visit of the District Officers to Court Marquis of Normanby. It was mentioned that every court in the ’ district was represented at the gathering. Bro. Fauvel expressed regret at the departure of Bro. B. Booth, who has been transferred to Dannevirke.
