VISIT TO CANADA INSPECTION OF EMPIRE AIR ESTABLISHMENTS. TOUR TO ALL PROVINCES. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.25 a.m.) OTTAWA, July 29. The Duke of Kent arrived at' the Rockliffe Airport, where he was met by the Earl of Athlone, Mr Mackenzie King and Mr Malcolm MacDonald. Thence he drove to Rideau Hall, where he is the guest of the Governor-Gen-eral. Accompanying the Duke are two R.A.F. officers, Group-Captain Sir Louis Greig and Flight-Lieutenant F. J. Ferguson. The Duke of Kent will shortly 'begin an inspection tour of the Empire air training establishments. An official statement says there is no fixed advance itinerary. The Duke will make his tour by plane and his itinerary will therefore depend on the weather. He will visit every province, involving a programme as arduous and extensive as that' of their Majesties. The major difference is that the Duke’s visit is primarily of a service character and will not be regarded as one of State.
The Duke of Kent contemplates a stay of six weeks. It is understood that at 1 present he does not intend to visit the United States.
