TWO OFFICERS LOSE LIVES IN ACCIDENTS.
SEVERAL REPORTED MISSING.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The following air casualties were announced yesterday:— FOOKS. Harry G. C„ Pilot Officer, R.N.Z.A.F.. killed in aircraft accident. Mrs A. Fooks. 60 Peter St., Ashburton (m). GRAY, Peter M., Pilot Officer, R.N.Z. A.F., killed in aircraft accident. Mr F. Gray, 15 Moana Rd., Kelburn, Wellington (f). OSBORNE, Gordon D., Sgt., R.N.Z. A.F., missing on air operations. Mrs D. D. Osborne, 13 Gladstone Place, Leith, Edinburgh (w). BIRD, Alan W. P„ Sgt., R.N.Z.A.F., missing on operations. Mrs W. Bird, 43 Evans St., Timaru (m). STEWART, David C.. Sgt., R.N.Z.A.F., slightly injured on air operations. Mr D. W. Stewart, Waipori Falls, Dunedin (f). ANDREWS, Charles W., Sgt. R.N.Z. A.F., missing on training flight. Mr C. A. Andrews, 19 Woodley Ave., Remuera (f). JOYCE, David C.. Sgt.. R.N.Z.A.F.. killed in action. Mrs F. E. Soward, Rural Mail Delivery, Upper Hutt (m). LUND, Mervyn S., Pilot Officer, missing on air operations. Mr G. Lund, 37 Bellevue Rd., Mt. Eden, Auckland (f).
