The former New Zealand horse Ornapo scored his first win in Australia when he led the field home in the second division of the three and four-year-old handicap at the Ascot races. The New Zealand-bred Colonel Post won the Juvenile Handicap. Results: Flying Handicap: Freckles, 8.4 (J. Thompson) 1; Brazandt, 8.12 (Shean) 2; Casicasado, 7.0 (Carr) 3. One length and three-quarters; one and a half. Time, 1.131. Ascot Handicap: Kestrel, 7.5 (Knox) 1; Kurrawid, 8.5 (Terrill) 2; Rhythmic, 7.3 (Morsillo) 3. Half a length; threequarters of a length. Time, 1.57. MOONEY VALLEY WIN FOR CHATASAN. FOUNTAIN SALUTES JUDGE. MELBOURNE, July 27. Results at the Mooney Valley races included: —
