GUN CLUB
WEEKEND COMPETITIONS. HIGH STANDARD OF SHOOTING. Competitions were held by the Wairarapa Gun Club on the club's grounds, Norfolk Road, on Saturday. There was a fair attendance of shooters and the secretary, Mr M. Kiddie, had arrangements complete in every detail. The shooting was of a high standard. The results were as follow: Five bird eye opener: J. Udy shot 5, F. E. Allen, W. H. Saunders, C. E. Grey, L. Rayner, D. S. McKenzie 4 each.
. Fifteen bird A grade aggregate; L. Rayner 14, J. D. McKenzie 12, C. E. Grey, J. Udy. W. H. Saunders, 11 each; F. Taplin, D. S. McKenzie, W. D. Moroney and H. Bannister 10 each. Ten bird sweepstake: W. H. Saunders 10, C. E. Grey, D. S. McKenzie, H. Banister 9, J. Crawford, A. McKay 8, J. Udy, G. Birkett 7. Double rise, five pairs: D. S. McKenzie 9, C. E. Grey, W. H. Saunders 6, J. D. McKenzie 5, J. Udy 4. Gimcrack sweepstake, seven birds: H. J. Bannister 5, C. E. Grey, J. D. McKenzie, D. S. McKenzie, F. E. Allen and J. C. Crawford 4 each.
