The. funeral of the late Mr G. H. Sayer was held on Saturday afternoon there being a large cortege. The services at the Chapel of Hyde’s Funeral Service and at the graveside were conducted by the Rev. V. Joblin. The pallbearers were Messrs L. Sayer, E. Sayer, W. Watt, J. Lulham, P. Downes, and H. B. Keenan (Power Board). Among others, wreaths were sent by the Wairarapa Electric Power Board, and the staff of the Wairarapa Electric Power Board.
