INDOOR BASKETBALL
INTERHOUSE ASSOCIATION TOURNEY ON SATURDAY. VISITING TEAMS TO PARTICIPATE. The Interhouse Association's tournament on Saturday should prove a great success. Word was received today that a. party of thirty players would be present from Palmerston North, seventeen from Hutt Valley and eleven from Wellington. The south teams will arrive by. the 11.20 a.m. train and will be entertained at dinner by the Wairarapa Interhouse Association. Included in the Wellington ladies’ team are Mrs Hugh Piper, who has represented Waikato on several occasions, and has also played in the New Zealand championship, 1938-39, and Miss Ngaire Hobbs who has also represented Waikato and is an outstanding goal shooter.
