In a golf match Martinborough beat Wairarapa, the games resulting as follows, Martinborough players being mentioned first in each case: Ladies, Mrs Martin and Miss Harvey beat Mrs Collins and Mrs Pope; Miss Baker and Mrs Marflitt lost to Miss Bargh and Mrs Feist; Mrs Knutson and Mrs Charles beat Mrs Bidwill and Miss Collins; Mrs Baker and Mrs Knell beat Mrs Suth-' erland and Mrs Warren. Men: H. Harvey and W. Martin beat D. C. Collins and. B. Feist; I. Charles and M. Perry halved, with W. Stewart and W. Pope; S. Martin and. R. Baker beat B. Bidwill and G. Griffiths; C. Moore and J. Kershaw beat R. Elbe and A. Juno.
