MAURICEVILLE
HOME GUARD N.C.O. CLASSES OF INSTRUCTION. ("Times-Age” Special.) The N.C.O. classes being held in Masterton on Tuesday nights are proving beneficial to the local Home Guard unit. Officers and N.C.O.’s are acquiring special knowledge, and have commenced giving the men more advanced and interesting training. Patriotic Committee. The Mauriceville East Patriotic Committee has been fairly active during the past months, and on Thursday next, at 7 p.m., a good representation of residents is expected at a meeting, when the formation of a patriotic social committee will be considered. Personal. Private M. Condon will be visiting the Wairarapa district later this week.
