INDOOR BASKETBALL
LOCAL COMPETITIONS. THIRD ROUND TONIGHT. The first games in the third round of the indoor basketball championship, conducted by the Wairarapa Interhouse Association, will be played in the Y.M.C.A. tonight. In the men’s section only two points separate the four leading teams, and the game between Vesta and W.F.C.A. should be watched vjith great interest. These two teams' have met now on three occasions. Each team has won a game and one has been drawn. In the ladies’ division, Lancers will meet Garages, ' and Woolworths will play Banks. The junior ladies’ game between Sparklets and Rangers A should be a good game as Sparklets are determined to avenge the defeat they received when the teams last met. There will be a practice for the representative teams on Tuesday evening. The men's teams will play from 7 o’clock till 8 o'clock and the ladies from 8 o’clock to 9 o'clock. Any player unable to attend is requested to notify Mr D. Costello.
