KNOX CHURCH
COYS’ CLUB GATHERING. PRESENTATION TO MR G. MASTERS. There was -an attendance of over seventy young people at. the Knox Young Mens’ “games evening” and social gathering held in the Sunda;/ school building. Among those present were the patron of the Boys’ Club, the Rev. J. Davie, the president, Mr Masters and Mrs Masters, the vice-presi-dents, Messrs G. Dickel and Moore and their wives, the girls of the Bible Classes, and the senior scholars of the Sunday school. The guest of the evening was the Bible Class leader, Mr George Masters. In presenting him with a. small token cf appreciation and esteem from the boys. Mr H. Filer paid a tribute to MiMasters and his untiring efforts on behalf of the young people of the congregation. Mr Davie spoke in a similar strain and thanked Mr Masters for his willing assistance at all times.
Mr Masters suitably replied for himself and for Mrs Masters who was presented with a beautiful bouquet. Supper was served. The M.’sC. were Messrs T. Taylor and H. Filer, while all the other arrangements were in the hands of the capable committee of the Boys’ Sports Club.
