MR FRASER’S NEGOTIATIONS IN LONDON HINT BY THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE. POSSIBILITY OF INCREASE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Minister of Marketing, Mr Barclay, announced last night that the Prime Minister, Mr Fraser, was negotiating with the Ministry of Food in London, concerning the sale of the coming season’s butter and cheese, and it was hoped that arrangements would shortly be completed. As soon as finality had been reached a full announcement would be made. It was hoped that the prices might be such as to enable the Government to meet some of the extra costs incurred, particularly in the change-over from butter to cheese.
