COSY THEATRE

“HIDDEN GOLD.” Staccato gun-fire and the lariat justice of the Old West will be seen tonight when “Hopalong” Cassidy and his pals appear in their latest adventure romance, Paramount’s “Hidden Gold,” at the Cosy Theatre. Again William Boyd gives life to Clarence E. Mulford’s famous cowboy character, delights his old enthusiasts, and adds a host of new ones. This latest adventure concerns a gang of robbers who are stopping gold-shipments, and who managed to point suspicion away from themselves to an innocent man. Plenty of fast action is necessary before their activities are uncovered. Feature number two is “Small Town Boy,” starring Stuart Erwin in his most hilarious role. It is the story of a young man who suddenly found 1000 dollar notes, which changed his whole life.
