MENINGITIS

A SUSPECTED CASE TERRITORIAL FROM ROTORUA. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, July 18. Though no further cases of meningitis or suspected meningitis were reported from Ngaruawahia camp today, a suspected case was admitted to Rotorua hospital from among territorials in camp at Rotorua racecourse. Diagnosis of the new case has not been completed and it was officially stated that all that could be said in the meantime was that the man was apparently suffering from meningitis. The condition of the soldier who was admitted to Waikato hospital on Thursday from Ngaruawahia was described tonight as being better than on the previous day. In this case also diagnosis is not complete and it was stated to be still too early to say whether the man was suffering from cerebro-spinal meningitis or from some other form.
