REPORTED MISSING
SERGEANT H. D. P. DYER. Advice has been received in Masterton to the effect that Sergeant H. D. P. Dyer, who is serving with the R.A.F. in England, was reported missing on air operations on July 16. Sergeant Dyer, who is the second son of Sergt. T. H. Dyer, formerly sergeant of police in Masterton and now stationed at Pukekohe, is well known in Masterton, where he was at one time a member of the Railway Station staff After receiving his air training in New Zealand, he left for England about twelve months ago and has since been engaged in R.A.F. operations.
