PERSONAL ITEMS . NEWS CONCERNING SOLDIERS. (“Times-Age” Special.) Miss Fletcher, Remuera, Auckland, is visiting Miss B. Donald, “Tarureka.” Mrs J. George, Wellington, is .visiting her brother, Mr H. Lawson. Mr and Mrs McKay, Pahautea, have returned from a holiday spent in the Masterton district. Mrs Juno, has returned to her home from the Kelvin Hospital, where she was treated for a knee injury. The latest news from Sergeant McKenna, R.N.Z.A.F., states that he has finished his training at a bombing and gunnery school at Defoe, and had left for England for further training. The last mail from the Middle East brought news that Gunner W. Bargh, who has been in hospital for the past four months, is making steady progress since his operation. His brother, Victor, is a pilot of one of the American fighter planes, and is stationed at Singapore.
