SHEEP LORRIES

PARKING IN MASTERTON STREETS. BOROUGH WATCHING POSITION. The matter of sheep lorries being parked in Lincoln Road was raised by Councillor R. Russell at last night’s meeting of the Masterton Borough Council. He asked if anything was being done. “The matter is being closely watched,” said the Mayor, Mr T. Jordan. “I hope that it will be acted on and not simply watched,” observed Councillor Russell. Mr Jordan gave an assurance that the council was alive to the position and said that the sanitary inspector could be relied upon to see that no nuisance would be allowed.
