REGENT THEATRE
“HONEYMOON IN BALI." ■With Fred Mac Murray, Madeleine Carroll and Allan Jones co-starred, and a featureci cast which includes Helen Broderick. Osa Masson, Carolyn Lee, four-year-old “discovery," and Akim Tamiroff, Paramount’s new comedy romance, “Honeymoon in Bali," will open tonight at the Regent Theatre. Employing romantic Bali. Nassau and a New York department store for the background, the picture tells the story of a smug, beautiful and independent executive of a Fifth Avenue store who falls in love with a carefree lad but refuses to discard her independence for love. Somehow, he can’t see that there is any difference between women in Bali and the modern sophisticated woman. His efforts to convince her that she really does love him, and her efforts to evade the issue- lead the picture to an interesting and amusing conclusion. . Excellent short features include Popeye Carloon, “Sportlight," Headliner and News. .
