FORCES FOR MOROCCO
SHIPPED FROM FRANCE. AGAINST POSSIBLE AMERICAN ACTION. (Received This Day, 1.10 p.m.) LONDON, July 14. The “Express,” quoting a neutral from Marseilles, says 60,000 French Metropolitan troops have been shipped to Morocco with the object of helping General Weygand’s army to meet possible American action against French Africa. The ports of Marseilles, Ville Franche and Port Vendre have been closed to the public for the last two weeks. The entire aviation base at Clermont Ferrand, including planes and repair and equipment mechanics, has been shipped to Morocco.
