New Post Office at Lower Hutt.

The foundation stone of the new post office in the city of Lower Hutt was laid yesterday afternoon by the Acting-Prime Minister, Mr Nash, who is also M.P. for Hutt. Mr Nash said the new building would be the most up-to-date for post office purposes that had yet been erected in New Zealand. Territorial Parade. A parade of the Second Hawke’s Bay Regiment is to be held at the Masterton Drill Hall at 7.30 o’clock on Thursday night. Hitherto this unit was known as the First Hawke’s Bay Regiment.
