The Paris Radio announced that Australian troops occupied Beirut this morning. The Free French headquarters in London announced that the Free French casualties in Syria were between 1.200 and 1,300. An Ankara message reports that 30 members of the Italian Armistice Commission have entered Turkey from Syria. Five German representatives have also left Syria.
