ATTACK ON BRITISH EMBASSY AT MADRID. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 9.30 a.m.) RUGBY, July 10. Asked in the House of Commons whether the Spanish Government had made apologies for the recent attack on the British Embassy in Madrid, the Foreign Under-Secretary, Mr R. A. Butler, replied affirmatively and added that the Spanish Government had given assurances that those responsible for the incident would be punished.
