BULK OIL INSTALLATIONS. WELLINGTON, This Day. It is learned that arrangements are being made for the major bulk oil installations in the Dominion to be camouflaged. It is expected that a start will be made shortly. Petrol tanks are painted with aluminium because it absorbs heat less than any other colour and so reduces the evaporation of tank contents.
