ATTITUDE OF TEACHER
TOWARDS MILITARY SERVICE. RESENTED BY PARENTS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DANNEVIRKE, This Day. , A. sequel to an unsuccessful appeal against military service, on conscientious grounds, by a young sole teacher at Titree Point School, was a meeting of parents, who decided to refrain from sending their children to school while the teacher is retained in his present position. Some of the parents are returned soldiers, who strongly resent the teacher’s attitude to the war.
