ROTARY CLUB

BUSINESS AT WEEKLY LUNCHEON. ADDRESS BY DR J. C. FORSYTH. A blazing log fire in the Y.M.C.A. lounge imparted a cheery atmosphere at the weekly meeting of the Masterton Rotary Club today. The president, Mr P. F. Fagan, presided over a large attendance of members. A warm welcome was accorded a party of Rotarians from Wellington which included the president of the Wellington Club, Mr F. Jones; Mr D. Taylor (secretary) and Messrs H. G. Mayer and J. W. Penman. Mr G. Scrimgeour (Greytown) was also present as a guest of the Masterton Club. The sneaker for the day was Dr J. C. Forsyth, who gave an interesting address on the sulphomide drug group, dealing in particular with sulphapyrodine or M and B 693. On the motion of Mr C. R. Mabson the speaker was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for his informative address.
