OBITUARY
MR MALCOLM CAMPBELL. The death occurred suddenly this morning at his residence, Te Ore Ore, of Mr Malcolm Campbell. The late Mr Campbell was born in Carrigrich Harris, Scotland, 60 years ago. He came to New Zealand 40 years ago and worked on t’he Orongo Orongo station for Mr Riddiford. He worked at the Brancepeth and Morland stations for thirty years. During the last twelve months he had managed “Kaikatea” for Mrs S. Burling, Te Ore Ore. He served for three years during the last war with the 3rd Battalion of the New Zealand Rifle Brigade. He is survived by a widow. The funeral will take place tomorrow, leaving the chapel of Hyde’s Funeral Service Ltd., following a service at 11 a.m.. for the Karori Cemetery Wellington, and arriving there at 1.30 p.m.
