GOLF COMPETITION o LADIES AT PLAY. (“Times-Age” Special.) The ladies yesterday played an eclectic competition on the Gum Grove links, the best cards being:—Mrs B. Feast, 1: Mesdames Gold and Connell (equal), 2; Miss M. Ruane, 3. Personal Items. Mrs J. A. Juno. Pahautea, has entered Kelvin Hospital for treatment. Mr M. Fuge, who recently underwent an operation in the Kelvin Hos-: pital, has recovered sufficiently to be able to return to his home. Mrs N. C. C. Shepherd left yesterday for Dunedin where her daughter, Miss Norma Shepherd, has had to reenter the hospital for treatment.
