TEA SUPPLIES
ARRIVAL OF LARGE SHIPMENT. SHORTAGE RELIEVED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. In an announcement today, the Minister of Supply (Mr Sullivan) said that a recent large shipment of tea, consisting of over 10,000 chests weighing in the aggregate over one million lb., has relieved the tea position, and it is hoped that importers will in future take advantage of every opportunity to buy tea to avoid a recurrence of the situation brought about by the postponement of shipments of tea from Ceylon.
