COSY THEATRE
“COME ON GEORGE.” George Formby's new comedy, “Come On, George,” will be shown al the Cosy Theatre tonight. Press reviewers arc unanimous in their declaration that this is the funniest film he has made. “Come On, George” is a horseracing comedy, and Formby admits that he has long been trying to persuade A.T.P. production executives to make such a film. This is explained by the fact -that the world popular comedian was once apprenticed to a racing stable and still retains his great love for horses. Now the producer’s tip is “get set” on the fun favourite for a hearty laugh with “Come On. George.” The associate feature is the great Western romance. “South of the Border,” the famous Gene Autry film in which the famous western star renders not only the melody of the same name but many other favourites. Together these two brilliant shows make the finest fare ever offered on any one single programme at the Cosy Theatre.
