Miss Kathleen Clapshaw, who has been spending a short holiday at her home, left yesterday for PalmerstQii North, where she is to join the nursing staff of the Northcote Private Hospital. Mr and Mrs L. McKenna, Pahautea. left yesterday for Napier, where they intend to spend a holiday. Mr J. Warrington and Mr Frew have left for Napier on a motor tour. Miss Margaret Bargh and Miss Agnes Hector, Wellington, were weekend visitors to Pahautea.

Mr and Mrs S. Grant have returned to Pahautea from a. holiday spent in Hawke’s Bay. ,
