PETROL RATION
ONE-SIXTH REDUCTION IN BRITAIN. TAKING EFFECT FROM NEXT MONTH. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.15 a.m.) RUGBY, July 1. It is officially announced that the basic ration of petrol for private consumption will be reduced by about one-sixth. The reduction comes into force in the next rationing period, which covers August, September and October.
