Mr and Mrs Walter White, of Eketahuna, are visiting Rotorua. < Mrs McDougal, Cola Street, Masterten, is on a short visit to Wellington. Mrs A. Laing, Nursery Road, Masterton, is visiting relatives at Kaikohe, North Auckland.
Mr and Mrs J. E. Jenkins. Renall Street. Masterton, spent the weekend at Paraparaumu Beach. Mrs J. Macßae and Miss Downward, who have been staying at Paraparaumu Beach, have returned to Masterton.. Mr and Mrs A. P. Bennett, Essex Street, Masterton. spent the weekend with Sir Alfred i and Lady Ransom, Danncvirke.
After- many years as president of the ladies’ auxiliary of the Navy League in Wellington, Mrs L. O. H. Tripp tendered her resignation at the annual meeting yesterday, and Mrs W. E. Parry, wife of Commodore Parry, was elected in her place.
