CLEARING SALE.

BRISK BIDDING. Messrs Wright Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report having held a most successful clearing sale at Pukio yesterday on behalf of the Trustees of the Estate of the late W. R. Parker. There was a good attendance of buyers from all parts of the district, and as far north as Eketahuna. The cows, which were practically all high grade Jerseys were in excellent condition. All calving dates were given, and bidding was very brisk, and the sale went through in good time. Top price was £l4 ss, and the herd averaged the very satisfactory figure of £lO Bs. A few sundries were offered and made good values. The motor car and milking plant were passed in.
