AIR FRASER BROADCASTS CARE OF SICK AND WOUNDED IN EGYPT. SYMPATHY WITH RELATIVES OF FALLEN. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. In a talk last night in the 8.8. G. scries, “Calling New Zealand,” the Prime Minister, Mr Fraser, spoke of his impressions during his visit to the Middle East. The main portion of the broadcast dealt with the valiant part played by the New Zealand troops in Greece and Crete, in which Mr Fraser again voiced his conviction that the Dominion Governments had acted wisely in going to the assistance of their Greek allies. It was essential, however, he said, that before any similar campaign was again entered upon there should be an assurance of adequate air support. Mr Fraser made special mention of the amenities for the troops in Egypt and of the excellent military hospitals, in which the sick and wounded were receiving the utmost care and attention. He was certain that there could be no better conducted military hospitals in the world, with splendid equipment and highly-efficient staffs. The Premier concluded with a special message of sympathy to those whose kith and kin had given thenlives for their country. “By their sacrifice peace, order and decency will again prevail. They have not died in vain.”
