HOME GUARD ("Times-Age” .Special.) A ball is to be held by the Home Guard (Mauriceville unit) in the Mauriceville East Hall on Thursday night. The function will be controlled by the N.C.O's.. and it is anticipated that the ball will be a decided success. Personal Items. Mr and Mrs J. A. Baine are at pro - sent spending a holiday in the Auckland district. The following local residents have been called to camp tor military training: M. Condon, C. J. Nielson and A. J. Wilkin.
