DAMAGE TO RAILWAYS
CONGESTION ON RUSSIAN. ROADS ACCORDING TO BERLIN RADIO. SOVIET BOMBERS AT WORK. LONDON. June 28. The Berlin radio claims that the Russian railway system is so damaged by bombing that some lines are operating only partially and traffic has been transferred to roads, causing congestion. The Russians have bombed the town of Kosice, which became Hungarian after the partition of Slovakia. The Hungarians say that bombs hit the post office, telephone exchange, anc military buildings, 20 and seriously injuring 18 persons. Far heavier damage with a biggei death role was caused by an explosion of a munition dump at the arsenal a' Nagyteten. near Budapest, but neither the Russians nor the Hungarians have suggested that tins was bombed.
