MASTERTON CLUB PAIRS TOURNAMENT, CLOSE CONTEST IN A SECTION. The Masterton Indoor Bowling Club’s pairs tournament was carried a further stage last week. After several surprising results in the A section, the final result' is very much in doubt. The leaders in the B section are still McNab and Watson (s) who have not been defeated. Dixon; 9 p.m., No. 1. Walker v. Leigh: No. 2, .Park Ferns game. A. Gray and Pickering (s) v. E. Gray and Watson (s). Thursday, 7 p.m., No. 1, Dixon v. Grantham; No. 2. Leigh v. Henson; 8 p.m.. No. 1. Walker v. Watson; No. 2. Hearps v. Thompson; 9 p.m.. No. 1. Stains v. Fenton; No. 2. Buckley v. Finlayson. The committee requests that players be ready to commence their games punctually on time.
