Mrs B. R. Bunny. Cole Street. Masterton, is visiting Auckland. The Misses I. and B. Barton. Lansdowne, are spending a week in Wellington. Mrs P. J. Borthwick. “Eridge," who has been visiting Blenheim, has returned to Masterton. Mrs Middlebrook. Ormondville. is staying with her mother, Mrs Dillon. Church Street, Masterton. The death occurred recently of Mrs Ivy Evelyn Rodgers, wife of Mr Harold Rodgers. Denbigh Street. Feilding. Born at Mauriceville, Mrs Rodgers was a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Thomas Lyttle, and her marriage took place at Pahiatua. The deceased had resided for 15 years in Feilding. - Besides a husband she leaves three daughters. Prior to her departure to Christchurch, Miss N. Thompson, Physical Welfare and Recreational Officer of the Department of Internal Affairs, was entertained at tea in Masterton by the leaders of the interhouse marching teams, and the committee of the Wairarapa Interhouse Association. Miss P. Cretney, on behalf of the Association, presented Miss Thompson with a beautiful shoulder spray of cyclamen and maidenhair fern.
