NEW ZEALAND TO GREAT BRITAIN. Australia and New Zealand are offered a free cable service by the Drapers’ Organiser Overseas for any inquiry about British merchandise. “Everyone recognised the value of export trade in our war effort, and the part it plays in the march to victory,’’ says Sir Cecil Weir, of Britain's Export Council, in a message published o the current issue of the periodical, to textile buyers in Australia and New Zealand. “It gives us the currencies we require for cur purchases of food., raw materials and munitions ol war. and it brings to countries overseas the vast variety of commodities, a reasonable supply of which is necessary to their standard of life and to the happiness and comfort of their peoples.”
