TRIPLETS BORN

TO MR AND MRS W. McGAUGHEY OF TAUHERENIKAU. Triplets, two girls and a boy, each weighing three pounds, were born at the Featherston Hospital last night to Mr and Mrs W. McGaughey, residents of Tauherenikau, where Mr McGaughey works at the racecourse. Dr. G. S. Sharp, Featherston, who assisted to bring the children into the world, said last night it was the first occasion triplets had been born in the district. All were reported well. Mrs McGaughey (nee Miss Henderson) has six other children. She comes .Tom a well-known family in the Tauherenikau district, and was herself one of a large family.
