INGOT ALUMINIUM
* PRODUCTION IN AUSTRALIA. IMMEDIATE DEVELOPMENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright! CANBERRA. June 25. ■ The Minister of Supply, Senator Mcßride, announced that the Government will proceed immediately with the manufacture of ingot aluminium in Australia, using Australian bauxite as far as possible. Plant is already available to deal with the large deposits of bauxite that are known to exist in New South Wales and Queensland. The cost of establishing the industry will be £1,500,000.
