SENIOR OFFICERS
RECALLED BY AUSTRALIA PROBLEMS OF HOME DEFENCE APPLICATION OF MODERN KNOWLEDGE. GAINED IN MIDDLE EAST. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) CANBERRA, June 25. Several senior officers of the A.I.F. are being brought back from the Middle East shortly to apply their knowledge and experience of modern fighting conditions to the operational plans of the home defence forces in Australia. The men will include some of the older officers, thus providing the younger men with an opportunity for more rapid promotion.
