INDUSTRY LITTLE TOUCHED BY WAR. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. Opening the annual conference 'of the National Beekeepers' Association, Mr A. H. Cockayne, Director-General of Agriculture, i emarked that the war had left the industry virtually untouched, because most of the honey produced in New Zealand was consumed in New Zealand. He issued a warning against a possible repetition of mistakes made after the last war in connection with the industry’s part in rehabilitation. About 50 delegate? are present, with Mr E. A. Field, Foxton. presiding.
