Visual Proof of Lying: People of England are not deceived by German propaganda. They have had visual evidence to support their disbelief. They remember the triumphal return of H.M.S. Exeter which the Germans announced had been,.sunk in January, 1940. They remember the Battle of Britain which the Germans declared had been won by the Luftwaffe. Hundreds of them watching this battle Siiw how many German planes crashed in flames and how few of our own were shot down. They saw the ground in the south of England littered with Messerschmitts. They knew that German claims were worthless.
