SHOP DAY
FREE KINDERGARTEN. The shop day and copper trail held by the Masterion West Free Kindergarten proved one- of the most successful ventures yet embarked upon by the Kindergarten Committee. A shop in Perry Street, lent by Mr R. Page, was busy all day, and the copper trail did excellent business. The copper trail realised exactly £6, and the shop produced a profit of almost £l2. The Kindergarten Committee afterwards recorded its appreciation of Mr Page’s action in making available the shop, to Messrs Hubbard Bros, for a generous donation, and to all the helpers who assisted.
