Mrs V. Greer. Masterton. is visiting Mrs Welch, Alfredton. Mrs C. M. Wright, Church Street. Masterton. is visiting Auckland. Miss Sybil Williams, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs G. Sunderland. Perry Street, Masterton. Mrs C. L. Gregory, of Ihuraua, has been appointed assistant teacher at Mangamutu School. Miss L. M. Heath has been appointed secondary assistant at the Marlinborough District High School. Prior to her departure for Christchurch, Miss Noeline Thomson, Wellington. is spending a few days with Mrs Alan Graham, Essex Street, Masterton. Among those present at the celebration of the diamond wedding of Mr and Mrs A. P. Deal on Friday was a daughter, Miss L. G. Deal, whose health was toasted.
