CO-OPERATIVE DISPOSAL PLAN BRITAIN AND THE PACIFIC DOMINIONS. STATEMENT BY SIR EARLE PAGE. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) CANBERRA, June 23. Details of a large-scale co-opera-tive plan between Britain, Australia and New Zealand for the disposal of surplus primary produce will probably be announced simultaneously in these three countries at the end of this week. The Minister of Commerce (Sir Earle Page) said today that the plan will include the provision of maximum shipping space to take goods from-Australia and New Zealand and the surplus left over will be stored here or in New Zealand with British Government financial aid. It is believed the plan will eliminate much of the competition between Australia and New Zealand trading in similar commodities. Sir Earle Page considered that the primary industries would thus be marshalled fully to the war effort.
