TO CLEAN CARPETS
NEVER USE SALT. Although some household books tell you to clean carpets, etc., with salt—never do it. The surplus salt remaining in carpets, etc., always absorbs moisture from tiie air. and in damp weather things cleaned with salt are never dry.
